What steps is the University taking to oversee my safe return to the office?
The University has developed plans to support the health and safety of all employees during this transition back to in-person work functions. These plans include cleaning protocols, required mask-wearing, and alterations to classroom and office environments to allow for proper social distancing.
Additionally, the University may need to adjust the return-to-work process based on factors related to the pandemic. In these situations, a unified process will be established to minimize the density on campus to adjust to any changing factors. In these scenarios each unit’s Return to Work taskforce and Pandemic Safety Officers will develop “off ramps” or alternate plans for the fall semester should COVID conditions and resultant health and safety guidelines preclude the full return of employees to campus.
